The Technophile’s Dream

On the 7th of November, Bristech was held once again at the Watershed and quite a show it was! Topics ranging from AI, to VR/XR, to more AI, to being more effective with your time, and even more AI. I’m sensing a theme here, almost like it’s the next big thing… Also some stuff with the “Cloud”, but of course that’s old news at this point as people move on to putting stuff in these clouds, something akin to a carton perhaps, or a bag, maybe even a caddy? You could call them all “containers” of some sort, yeah that sounds right.

I was left with a lingering feeling of Imposter Syndrome the entire time with all these smart cool people doing smart cool people things. However, if nothing else can be taken away from this event at least I learnt a whole lot about WebAssembly, I gotta hand it to the speaker, he really knew what he was talking about - and made it entertaining to boot!
